This training program provides participants with a practical understanding of low-carbon technologies (LCTs) and their role in advancing Canada’s climate commitments. The course covers core topics including GHG mitigation strategies, sector-specific applications across energy, transportation, agriculture, mining, construction, and manufacturing, as well as frameworks for selecting and evaluating LCTs.
Participants will also explore real-world case studies, adoption challenges such as financing and policy barriers, and approaches to monitoring, reporting, and optimizing GHG mitigation efforts.
