In this webinar, Geni Peters from ECO Canada and Darren Gresch from the Conference Board of Canada discussed the findings from the sustainable blue economy NOS project.
This project looked into the required skills and competencies for jobs in the blue economy. It considered the available jobs and the skills gaps and what we can do to fill these gaps to ensure Canada’s blue economy grows sustainably.
Attendees learned more about career transition pathways into the sustainable blue economy and heard about the competency profiles which were created as part of this project. The competency profiles explain the requirements for several jobs in the sector.
