President - W Dusk Energy Group Inc.

David Isaac is the President of the W Dusk Energy Group and a longtime advocate for Indigenous health and environment. Isaac is originally Mi'kmaq from the East Coast community of Listuguj, located on the border of Quebec and New Brunswick, but he grew up in Vancouver within the traditional territory of the Coast Salish peoples.. His company focuses on collaborating with Indigenous communities to harness renewable energy resources in conjunction with broader community development initiatives, including planning, food systems, and infrastructure. Isaac approaches his work by taking a systems approach rooted in the Indigenous worldview that everything is connected.
Speaker: Kaella-Marie Earle
Board Member - Waubetek Business Development Corporation

Kaella-Marie Earle, an Anishinaabe (Ojibwe, Odawa, Potawatomi) citizen of Wiikwemkoong Unceded Territory and Aroland First Nation, is an engineer and humanitarian dedicated to advancing Free, Prior, and Informed Consent (FPIC) in the mining, energy, and healthcare sectors. Her work focuses on supporting First Nations, Inuit, and Métis oversight, upholding Section 35, treaty, and inherent rights, and implementing the UN Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples (UNDRIP) Action Plan.

Senior Manager, Project Development and Strategy - ATCO Gas

Brodie Chalmers is a Professional Engineer with expertise in technical, financial, and strategic communications. He excels at integrating insights from multiple disciplines to develop clear, actionable strategies and has experience leading significant acquisitions and divestitures. He is currently focused on advancing decarbonization initiatives, with a particular emphasis on the development and expansion of hydrogen infrastructure.
