He holds a Master of Arts in Environmental Management from Royal Roads University and brings expertise in environmental sustainability, educational technologies, and community-focused initiatives.

Professor, Director, Centre for Environmental Education - Royal Roads University

Leslie King is a Professor at the School of Environment and Sustainability (RRU), dedicated to environmental education and empowering students to address local and global challenges such as climate change and biodiversity loss. Her research and teaching focus on integrated environmental sciences and planning, Indigenous environmental perspectives, environmental justice, governance, and the use of local and traditional ecological knowledge.

Associate Faculty, School of Environment & Sustainability - Royal Roads University

Liza Ireland is an expert in education for sustainability, with a PhD focused on developing systems thinking and regenerative sustainability perspectives that integrate social, economic, and environmental imperatives. She has extensive experience as a curriculum designer, instructor, and program leader in environmental education at institutions including Cape Breton University and the University of New Brunswick, and internationally in China and Bhutan. Ireland founded The Green School in Scotland and, as Director of Changing Climates Educational Society, has led workshops for educators and youth at national and international forums, including United Nations conferences.
