This session, the second installment in ECO Canada’s Zero Emission Vehicle Awareness series in partnership with the Municipal Climate Change Action Centre, delivers a clear, evidence-based examination of the most persistent myths surrounding electric vehicles.
Presenter Logan Hoyland breaks down key concerns, from real-world range and life-cycle environmental impacts to battery degradation, recycling pathways, and the expected load EV adoption will place on Canada’s electrical grid. Grounded in Canadian data and practical examples, the webinar also includes an extended Q&A that addresses common public questions such as rural charging access, cost of ownership, and infrastructure readiness.
