Jamie Kaminski is a leader in waste reduction and sustainability, helping organizations across Canada cut costs while improving their environmental impact. As President of HSR Zero Waste and HSR Services, he and his team turn Zero Waste goals into real, measurable results through audits, training, and hands-on program management. With three decades of experience rooted in his family’s recycling business, Jamie combines deep industry knowledge with a passion for practical, system-based solutions. He also advises Zero Waste Canada and the Zero Waste International Alliance, shaping the future of waste policy at home and abroad.

In the spirit of respect, reciprocity and truth, we honour and acknowledge Moh’kinsstis and the traditional Treaty 7 territory and oral practices of the Blackfoot confederacy: Siksika, Kainai, Piikani, as well as the Îyâxe Nakoda and Tsuut’ina nations. We acknowledge that this territory is home to the Métis Nation of Alberta, Region 3, within the historical Northwest Métis homeland. Finally, we recognize all Nations who live, work and play on this land and honour and celebrate this territory.
